Why do some people feel a passion for spiritual growth, while others don’t?

Some say for those who have it, the drive to grow is a clear impulse which leads toward human evolution.

Neither is right nor wrong, good nor bad. Yet those who say yes to the evolutionary impulse within them may witness a deep vision and power that opens us all to an entirely new era of human existence.

Sages throughout time have taught that this “evolutionary enlightenment” is the self-same impetus that caused something to emerge from nothing at the very advent of creation.

Modern mystics maintain it’s the artifact of the spark which initiated the dawn of creation nearly fourteen billion years ago, the “big bang” that gave embodiment to the ever-expanding universe.

They say that the big bang is right here, right now, indwelling you.

It forms an impulse to action, a primordial call to exceed yourself and by your example, those you come into contact with.

You then find yourself saturated in a profoundly positive flow of consciousness, aligned with the sublime joy of being, the goodness of life itself and the recognition of your own unique role in the cosmos.

You know in the depths of your being beyond all shadow of doubt that life is good-and that in you, as you and through you, life gets even better.

How? As we evolve, source evolves with us. The “spiritual impulse” is revealed as the primal force of creation present within us, and in that elegant epiphany the very source of life advances.

It is said that when this spiritual impulse gains momentum through you-the awakened human being-it becomes aware of itself. In so doing “God’s purpose” is your purpose.

In his book A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle writes:

“…Your purpose is to awaken. It is as simple as that. You share that purpose with every other person on the planet—because it is the purpose of humanity. Your inner purpose is the purpose of the whole, the universe and its emerging intelligence. Finding and living in alignment with inner purpose is the basis for true success.”

As a success coach I can say this makes perfect sense. All real success is predicated upon knowing and aligning with inner purpose first and foremost, which paves the way for your outer purpose to take place with a minimum of effort.

Now it’s up to you to create a big bang of your own, to exceed yourself as never before, and commission the unmitigated aptitude of your own evolutionary enlightenment. Cheers to your journey!

To your best life ever –

Peter
